Beschreibung:

Dominic starts at the local high school, Bideford College, in Bideford up the road. He catches the bus. Toby starts at Hartland Primary School in Hartland up the road from Clovelly; Molly drives him.

Dominic is bullied from the get-go and hates it. He still has a French accent and falls in and out of French. The kids think he’s weird since he’s so skinny, his hair too long, his teeth yellow and crooked. He hates it but has no choice. Has an affinity with music, however, and grows close to his music teacher, Ms Langtree, but hates his French teacher, Mr Pillcross, because Dominic can speak better French than him.

Misses Erika and longs to return to her. Knows Toby is safe with Molly so why not? Still thinking about their plan to run away to the Scottish Highlands.
