MacArthur tried to push North of the 38th paralleled all the way to the Yellow River, which was the border between North Korea and China. He wanted to set off Nuclear weapons in hopes to end the war. But 3000,000 Chinese soldiers counterattacked South Korean and U.S. positions. They were out numbered and forced to retreat. After bringing up the use of Nuclear Weapons, Truman fired MacArther due to insubordination.
