Dominic comforting his father who is distraught over the sudden loss of both his parents. Andrew, holed up in bed, Dominic plays his father’s guitar and a couple of The Cure songs.
Andrew says to Dominic that when he dies, Dominic will inherit the guitar. This makes Dominic sad as he considers losing his father. And knows that when he gets that guitar, his father will be gone.
