12th December, 2009 – Sam wants to ask Erika to their first Winter Formal but Dominic gets angry and Sam, still finding his feet and feeling not totally apart of the group, backs down. Tom tells him to give Dominic time; that he and Erika have history. Sam holds out hope. He’s lonely and he cares about Erika. Just wants someone to care for him too.

18th December, 2009 – Attends the Winter Formal with his friends. Once again, at the after party, he and Erika end up making out in a quiet corner. She sinks against him and he holds her. Never met anyone like her. He’s enamoured by her. But doesn’t know what Dominic will do if he ever finds out.
