The March of the Iron Will was a procession of Italian troops marching from Dessie, Ethiopia to the capital of Ethiopia in Addis Abada. It was primarily a fascist propaganda event to capture the capital in a "show of force." After the Italians reached the capital, they believed they had officially conquered Ethiopia, but the conflict continued for about another five years.
