Noonien Singh renounces all possessions, and responsibility to the Indian government and to the dismay of his "parents" he takes the moniker "Bodhisatta Dipankara" and disappears in the night.

He begins a 3 year journey to seek enlightenment through continued studies and meditation outside the confines of his private monastery.
