Beschreibung:

The graphophone was invented at the Volta Laboratory in 1886 and it was known as an improved version of Thomas Edison’s Phonograph. The graphophone was different to Thomas Edison’s phonograph because when it recorded something, the visual was represented with a zig zag line as opposed to the vertically cut lines of Edison’s phonograph.
