Following being given this post by the ailing Paul von Hindenburg, it is sort time before Hitler gets the Reichstag Fire Decree passed, then the Enabling Act, Nuremburg Laws, etc., etc. transforming the weak liberal democratic Weimar Republic into a fascist dictatorship in just about a year.
