5 men, including James McCord, were arrested for the Break-in at the DNCH. They had thousands of dollars, bugging equipment, and rolls of films on them while they were being arrested. That group was then linked to CREEP, then later on the White House denied that any adminstration officials were involved in the watergate scandal.
