He’s graced stages across the globe for the best part of three decades, and he’s been on camera strutting his stuff for nearly four.

So, you’d think that Johnny Depp would be full of swagger on a stage in front of a small audience of his peers and the public in London.

But, it seems that’s not the case at all, as the 55-year-old Blow star looked uncharacteristically uncomfortable as he took to the stage at the Kerrang! Awards 2018.

Having touched down in the UK for tour dates with supergroup The Hollywood Vampires, Johnny made his way on stage at the Islington Assembly Halls to present Joe Perry with the inspiration award.

It’s an honour for me to be here to present this inspiration award ironically to the man who was the inspiration for me to pick up a guitar in the first place when I was a kid,’ Johnny told the assembled crowd.

Captured on camera by a member of the audience, he can be heard making a halting and mumbled introduction speech before Joe arrives to collect his award.

The actor can be seen fidgeting and looked slightly awkward during his time on the stage.
