The six-day war was an armed conflict that occurred when Egypt, Syria, and Jordan invaded Israel. With support from the United States, Israel was able to push back the invaders and even concurred land spanning all the way into Egypt. However, after threats from the UN, the war ended. This event is significant because it created additional tension and pressure on the Palestine and Israel conflict.
