The Queen of the Sovereignty of Daltonico, early into the new nations independence, would declare war on the Empire of Rim. Personal disagreements between the Emperor of Rim and the Queen of Daltonico likely played into the start of the war, yet no direct justification was given. The two Server Superpowers, the New Kingdom of Danzig, and the Thulathi Theocracy would both declare nutrality, however, other nations would choose to keep their positions on the war unknown. Due to the initially limited nature of the conflict to the western coast of the southern server hemisphere, the war was initally called the
"Western Southern War".
