Benito Mussolini and his mistress, Clara Petacci, are shot by Italian partisans, with some believing that his death was apart of a British special forces operation to retrieve compromising "secret agreements" as well as a correspondence with Winston Churchill that Mussolini allegedly was carrying during his capture.
