maire asks her why, ll is all 'i just like watching the world burn'
maire tells her she knows about isa, maybe ll will recant everything or maybe that'd be a bit cheap, idk
maire then goes to apologise to kano properly, and he accepts it and forgives her bc they're still friends
he makes it clear that it was still a horrible thing for her to do, and she agrees
jos is still mad at her, kano says to just give him time
james and cade arrive, they tell them about the flower thing and giving smth back
maire says that the flower was the one she gave to jos, and jos is all 'i have to return it'
maire says no, she's the one who caused all of this, she should be the one to fix it
they all agree on it, but kano insists on going with her bc he's not letting her do this on her own
jos is all 'u can't, everyone who's gone in there has disappeared'
maire is all 'i have to try'
so she and kano are roped together and also roped to the city gates and then let out into the fog
they get to bring maybe like, a lantern each
it's eerie, there are ghosts and beasts out here
they get away from each other maybe, somehow, maire pulls out her compass
there's some action, idk
maybe kano throws some shade at them (i mean, literal shade, but figuratively)
anyway, they make it to the fairie circle and leave the flower but it doesn't really work
the fog is still there
