1 Jan 1915 Jahr - Unrestricted Submarine Warfare
Beschreibung:
In this deadly statement of fear and violence, Germany new it had to take juristic measures of sea control if they were to have a chance against Britain's Naval fleet. Germany stated to all countries that all sea territory owned by Germany, and especially around the British Isles, was a war zone, and if any non-allied and non-identified ships were to enter said territory, they would be destroyed on sight without hesitation. This led to a sequence of merchant ships being destroyed. This was significant to Germany's war effort on the sea and led to the sinking of the Lithuania, which led to even more problems.
