Thank you for your wonderful gift of $350,000 to the ACLU, the first installment of your very generous pledge of $3.5 million. I am honored by your vote of confidence in our work, especially our efforts on behalf of domestic violence victims. And I'm incredibly grateful that you have spoken out publicly on this critical issue.

For nearly 100 years, the ACLU has been tireless in its effort to protect those who cannot protect themselves. With you by our side, we will continue to work with fierce determination to advance civil liberties, today and for years to come.
