Loki discovers his true parentage. Overwhelmed and betrayed, and drawing connections to the way he has been treated his entire life by Thor and Odin, he travels to Jotunheim and proposes to Laufey an invasion of Asgard. Helping the Frost Giants to slip in beyond Heimdall's gaze, the Giants besiege the city. Thor, now the champion of Asgard, successfully leads the defense. During the attack, Loki confronts Odin, and nearly kills him, but is stopped by Frigga. Laufey is killed and the Frost Giants dispelled. Loki is sentenced for treason to the Room With No Doors, where he will wait out his days in punishment. His only visitor will be Frigga.
