Three Muslim youths robbed, raped and murdered an ethnic Rakhine woman when she was returning home. However, The government doctor who signed the post-mortem report said there was no trace of rape on the body. In addition, one of the accused actually was a Buddhist. Even so, this sparked off a deadly chain of events.
