Piece for solo piano, collection of twenty pieces, including a large cast of characters, among them fictional ones from teh commedia dellárte (Arlequin, Pierrot, Coquette) as well as Schumann's critical personas FLorestan and Eusebius, and some of his contemporaries, among them Clara Wieck, Paganini, and Chopin.
