dedicated to st aurilus, who lived in the 1200s and spoke out against caverian rule
he reportedly held back 300 soldiers trying to sack sarasé (even though it was only a very small town at the time and had no real defences (it's only really mentioned by name bc it's significant in caledoan history)) while the inhabitants fled
he died and was canonised
every priest and minister must be educated, appointed, and annointed here, and it is also the residence of the high priest
it was reportedly burned down to the ground in 1821, and everything but the main church hall was burned
it's considered a miracle, but the records of it ever happening were written by the priests themselves
