Johnny paid his respects to the leaders of the Comanche Nation and completed his adoption into the tribe during a special ceremony. Johnny presented a special gift - a portrait of a Comanche painted by Johnny himself on a surface prepared with cigarette papers. LaDonna Harris accompanied Johnny who was also supported by actor and Lone Ranger college, Gil Birmingham.
