1 Sept 1942 Jahr - Women's Auxiliary Flying Squadron (WAFS) is formed

Beschreibung:

WAFS/WASP was made of women who flew noncombat missions ferrying planes between factories and military bases. As more and more women started to join the Army Air Force(AAF) started to miitarize them. Although their missions were noncobat women died because ferrying planes was very dangerous and many piloets get seriously ingured. After lobbying for a while WASP acheived active duty staus in the military.
