Pearl Harbor was when the Japanese had traveled to Pearl Harbor Hawaii and destroyed our military base there. They destroyed our ships and killed thousands upon thousands of people.

The Japanese had done this because they felt like we were a threat to them so they wanted to eliminate us as fast a s possible. They had also wanted to become a world power.
