Morgenthau Permits Retention of Not Over Four by Collectors and Numismatists.

WASHINGTON, Jan. 13. — Retention of not more than four $2.50 gold pieces is permitted under an amendment issued by Secretary Morgenthau today to his order of Dec. 28, which stipulated that all gold coin, bullion and certificates be returned to the Treasury.
