Germany fails to penetrate the Soviet Union’s defenses in an offensive strike. In the Battle of Kursk, both sides used tanks to strike the enemy in battle.

For Germany, fighting on the eastern front against Russia was not an easy task, so after making no territorial gains in Kursk and another battle that was fought earlier in Stalingrad, the Germans had learned their lesson.
