Japan set off for the islands of Midway, a checkpoint for the Japanese to use in order to claim Hawaii. Luckily, however, the code breakers of the US intercepted and translated the Japanese communication detailing the attack. Admiral Chester Nimitz prepares for the enemy’s advance, sinking four Japanese aircraft carriers.

Fighting against the majority of the Japanese fleet was easy thanks to the intel gathered from the deciphered messages. Before the ships could even land onto the islands, the United States had obliterated four of Japan’s aircraft carriers, which are considered to be the most important ship in a war.
