Falling blocks were being summoned every tick, with no way to stop them besides the console itself. After the experiment went wrong, Mr. Sieben himself had to use the command /kill @e[type=falling_block[ repeatedly through the console in order to clear enough lag for the command blocks to be deactivated.
While this wasn't a big deal for the server, since it was dealt with quickly and reverted easily (without CoreProtect) it still was a good reminder to those using repeating command blocks to be careful what command they entered.
