Point 30: The Appellant’s contention about credibility amounts to nothing first because it does not demonstrate Ms Heard to be a liar: her evidence in her statement was not that she had finished making all the payments, but that “the entire amount of my divorce settlement was donated to charity”, and this is not false. A ‘donation’ is not the same as a ‘payment’, and the term encompasses money which has been pledged but not yet paid, as the charities in question accept:
