Johnny Depp has been announced today as the new face of Christian Dior Parfums.

This is the first time ever the actor has agreed to be the face of a men's fragrance, and what better way than to join the likes of Charlize Theron and Natalie Portman at the French fashion house.

The House of Dior has enlisted François Demachy, the nose behind a number of their fragrances including Dior Homme and Miss Dior Cherie, to compose the new cologne.
