After flying back to the US for his daughter's sweet 16th and becoming embroiled in the much-publicised DogGate fiasco, Johnny Depp finally returned to the set of Pirates Of The Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales in Queensland on Tuesday.

And the 51-year-old star couldn't have received a warmer welcome from the locals there who flocked to the sea-side location where the $300 million blockbuster is being filmed, to greet Captain Jack Sparrow.

Proving he has no hard feelings towards the Australian people after he was faced with the possibility of jail time for smuggling his two pet dogs into the country, the actor took the time to meet fans and delight his youngest admirers.
