Alerted by the British King about the Allied capture of Fall Gelb, the Wehrmacht, therefore, shifted the Schwerpunkt and modified Fall Gelb to attack directly into the Ardennes Forest in Southern Belgium and Luxembourg.

Germany planned to push the 6th and 2nd army divisions to strike Wallonia, Belgium while the 4th, 12th and the 16th army divisions, supported with armoured units, chose to break out of the Ardennes and punch a hole through the allied front like 20km wide allowing them to encircle allied forces in Northern France and Flanders easily as per the 'Manstein Plan'.

Germany's forces are ready for their invasions against Western Europe.

Germany began preparing for a series of strategic landings by Fallschirmjagers (Paratroopers) in the Low Countries, mainly the Netherlands and Belgium.

The plan for the Fallschirmjagers was to lock down vital infrastructure while, with the highly risky plan, to force forward the Panzer divisions through the Ardennes Forest* and into the heart of France without infantry protection.

This proposal was hated by a significant number of German officers and generals.

*The Ardennes Forest was thought to be naturally impenetrable by the Allies because of its mountainous forest terrain and geography.

It was proposed, that February 1st 1939 will be when the battle for the control of the European Continent would begin and it will start with the invasion of the Kingdom of the Netherlands.
