This movement linked millions of women on Twitter and Facebook in order for them to share their stories of sexual harassment, and rape and sexual assault. The movement grew dramatically after more than 80 women came forward and accused successful Hollywood producer Harvey Weinstein of sexual assault and sexual harassment. After this incident more and more women came forward with testimonies of sexual harassment and sexual abuse and changed American's understanding of what sexual abuse consists of and it's extent in our society
