This version is indeed confirmed by the chronology of events in the
autumn of 1919. The MK RKP(b) was blown up on September 25.
At that moment the Bolsheviks had fled Ukraine which came as a
direct consequence of Trotsky's purge of the Makhnovshchina and
the resultant collapse of the Front. The Insurgent Army was forced
back by the Denikinists all the way to Uman and didn't conceal its
hatred for the Bolsheviks.
