The Keating_Owen Act prevented the interstate sale of goods made by children under the age of 14, and the Workmen's Compensation Act guaranteed that federal employees could receive financial compensation for a work related injury. The significance of these acts is that they reinforced Roosevelt's policy of greater intervention by the federal government in order to support labor.
