Alice, Lane, and Teddy watch Christmas cartoons all morning. The night before, they'd made cookies and a vegetarian Christmas dinner, then Lane and Teddy had slept in Teddy's bed. Later in the day, they opened presents and went ice skating. Teddy took Lane to the fort he and Grace had built two summers before. They hang out there for a while, before going back to the house. Teddy gave Lane a bracelet, Lane gave Teddy a locket.
