Drawmer DS201 Noise gate was made in 1982 by Ivor Drawmer, I man called Phil Chapman wanted him the build a gate. Drawmer wasn’t sure how to build one and ended up failing on his first try. He then went around studios to see how these worked, in the end he noticed they needed updating immediately. Ivor says that the noise gate he created still sells as well as it did back in the early 1980’s
