D-Day, the entrance into the War by the United States. Known as the largest seaborne invasion in history, the United States stormed the beaches of Normandy, France in an attempt to take back the German-occupied nation. This was known to be the bloodiest day in WW2 also one of the biggest days in war history to end WW2 once and for all.
