The quantum Mechanical model created by Schrödinger in 1926 basically suggested that electrons should be treated at matter waves. This was proposed after looking back on how electrons were able to travel through thin sheets of metal in Rutherford's experiment. Waves would be allowed to moves through object much easier than an actual particle would. He also created the wave equation that accurately calculates the energy levels that were discovered to exist in Bohr's theory. To further prove this model the Heisenberg uncertainty principle is applied in 1927, stating that there is a limit to what can be measured at one time. No matter how many times its attempted the quantum system, volocity, positions, and momentum, can not be measured together due to the fact that electrons are constantly moving very fast pace.
