The UAE is the king of waterparks. With as many as six waterparks in the country, it is the undisputed leader of water-based tomfoolery in the Middle East. But have you ever wondered what happens when the people leave and the parks close for maintenance?

For one day a year the famed Aquaventure waterpark at Dubai's Atlantis The Palm closes so the maintenance guys can check on the slides and give it the once over. This gave those lovable, adventerous reprobates at Red Bull a window of opportunity to do what we've all secretly dreamed of doing, and take to the slides on skateboards.
