Kaiser Stephan V would draft two completely brand new documents for the Alonian Empire. These documents would be the Reformed Constitution of the Alonian Empire and the Alonian Edict. The former document would detail a new system of government, unique to the Alonian Empire, would function. This would include the first detailed institution of democracy, and the concept of a separation of powers, along with checks and balances on power. The latter document would include the detailed rights of Alonian citizens, the limitations of power of government officials, including the official abolishment of slavery, the criminalization of murder, theft, and the creation of a system of justice. Both documents would then be presented to the Chancellory in a series of summons, and revised to emulate the desires of the citizens of the Empire.
