April 1989, China is dreaming of a more democratic government in which they would have more voice. College students from Beijing gather in Tiananmen square to protest and refuse to leave until their demands are met. For over a month they protest, and on June 3rd, tanks and soldiers shoot at students, forcing them to leave the square and ending the protests.
