The Paris Peace Accords were an agreement of ending the war and restoring peace in Vietnam again. This agreement ended U.S. military combat and temporarily stopped the war and fighting between the north and south Vietnam.
This is so important to the war because it is was ended the war. It even resolved fighting between the north and the south for a while. Without this being signed who knows how much longer the war would have continued. Also, if this was never signed the war between the north and south would have never been temporarily resolved.
