The President of the Student Union of The Chinese University of Hong Kong, So Chun Fung, applied to the court for an injunction order to prohibit the police from entering the campus without a warrant or permission under the law, and from using "crowd control weapons" on campus without a request from university administration. After the hearing, Justice Wilson Chan decided to refuse to grant the interim injunction order.
