Beschreibung:
The cinematograph is the first motion-picture apparatus that could be used as both a camera and projector. It was made by Louis and Auguste Lumiere.
It was based in part on the Kinetoscope that was invented by Edison, however many improvements were made. The cinematograph also functioned at a camera and could be used to make extra prints of the film.
The first public demonstration of the cinematograph took place at the Grand Cafe in Paris 1895. This lead onto the device being used throughout Europe and North America.
