In this incident, a ship of immigrants arrived in Vancouver and were not allowed to disembark because of their race. They arrived in Vancouver May 23rd and were forced to leave on July 23rd. That's two months being stuck on a boat in harbour, nevermind the voyage time.

Not to be confused with Star Trek's Kobayashi Maru.
