The mid-point occurs when King Neptune is furious about the two going to get the ingredient that he sends a group of mermaids trying to sing them the song in hopes to make them forget about the reason they are on this journey. The Goofy Goober hears what is happening and knows he needs to help them out so he runs out and starts singing the famous “Goofy Goober Song,” the song annoyed the mermaids so much they swam away back to where they came from.
