Jack tells the man that he doesn't want to go on the trip, it was a hard decision for Jack but he couldn’t leave his grandparents to tend the farm all alone. but he also wanted to help the man save the country. The man doesn't give up and keeps trying to get jack to go on the trip but he refuses and tells the man to go back to where he came from.
