The world premiere of Yellow Submarine took place on July 17th 1968, at the London Pavilion on Piccadilly Circus.
All four Beatles attended the premiere and showed that Beatlemania was truly alive and well, as large crowds turned out and brought the city to a standstill.
The US premiere wasn't until nearly four months later on November 13th, 1968, in New York.
