Officers were called at 1:46 a.m. in reference to a shooting that occurred at a home. When officers arrived, they found a 49-year-old man had been shot multiple times. The man said his son shot him and fled. At 2:35 a.m., police were still processing the scene when the alleged shooter approached the officers. The officers confronted him, and the man asked the officers to shoot, and they shot and killed him. Police withheld details as to what precipitated the killing.
