Deputies and officers responded at 1 p.m. to reports of a man walking on Squirrel Creek Road near Adam Avenue with a shotgun over his shoulder. Police found him and ordered him to drop the gun. Officers said they tried using a Taser, with no effect, before they shot and killed the man.
